Coming home is one of the loveliest parts of a vacation. We loved Alaska. But we are very happy back in our garden, in our own comfy beds, on the play set, and with our friends.

I'm glad you are home too, but I did enjoy your Alaska trip. It remind me of the times I went. Love the photos, the whale, the seagull, the baby butt...all great!
What is the pinata about? Is it Lucy's birthday?

It was Lucy's friend Teo's fifth birthday party. Teo is Lucy's best school friend and a big sweetheart. Lucy really loved whacking that pinata, as you can see. Happy fourth of July! The day marks eleven years of marriage for Rob and me. We're glad we've made it this far. And have the added bonus of a Lucy and a Jasper in the mix... we won't be watching the city fireworks tonight because Jasper needs to go to bed, but we're going to watch a movie with Lucy - Miss Potter. xoxo - A.
